This bi-chromatic mural in 8 shades (2 colors) and white envelopes this Dining Room above the chair rail.
The client desired a mural reminiscent of early American hand painted wallpaper using local landmarks as imagery.  It's understated elegance is amplified by the matching richness of embroidered drapery. 
A friend and I spent several days this summer photographing local buildings and from those images I constructed this condensed landscape scene. 

It took me three weeks to paint this grand piece. to paint this grand piece was 3 weeks.
