This is part of a work Coggeshall did in 1992 combining the grisaille technique with a bit of trompe l'oeil.
The drapery is painted in a "pulled back" position exposing a theatrical expression of European countryside.
The image above has been adjusted to show the subtle work beyond the drapery.
The drapery is gathered above the door and windows. It appears to be moving in a gentle breeze.
Note the light switch on the column shows that the sculptured base of the stone is really a flat wall!
The beauty of the grisaille is difficult to photograph. The many shades of the gray on gray colors and wash can best be appreciated first hand.
