| "Doug has done two major jobs for us. The first was a mural in our dining room in 1989. It still looks fantastic. The room has become a magnet for anyone who enters our home. Everyone is fascinated and totally attracted to my walls. Today Doug finished a "new look" for our living room. It is his parchment finish with the "Foggy Forest" in selected areas. | As a testament to just how realistic it looks, the cleaning lady came in and asked what happened to the wall. She seriously thought somebody damaged the plaster revealing the stone! LOL She looked around and saw the back splash and said, "What are you doing?" Her friend and I just laughed and we had to explain how that it is purposeful and painted on. LOL
She looked around and asked for your card -- which, I of course, gave to her. She said she has another client who has something similar but nowhere near as nice. I told her about your website, etc. She said that she would refer you to her clients, so if you get a call from somebody saying that their cleaning lady recommended you, it was my E---. She kept touching it and I truly wish you were here to see her amazement.

We all absolutely love the boy’s “castle room” and can’t wait to have you back again. I am amazed by what you accomplished for us in a day and the realism of the stone work.
For several weeks Asa believed that the closet with stone on all three walls, floor to ceiling was “the castle”. I had to move the dresser over because he would curl up in the corner “to sleep in my castle”. No joke. He did this for 3 nights and cried and screamed if we tried to put him in his crib (and he only crawled out and went back to “the castle” anyway).
Thank goodness he finally realized (and we pointed them out each time) the stones near his bed were also part of his castle room.
Aaron equally loves his room as tells everyone “the Artist painted me a castle room”. Every once in awhile, usually for afternoon naps you can still find Asa curled up in the corner between your stonework and the dresser in his “castle room”

I feel very blessed that I have met some special people in my life. People who can take something that I can picture in my mind, take it into their mind, spin it, play with it, and then add their own interpretation mixed with talents that God has endowed them with, and bring it to life. |

| When I came up the stairs,I was unprepared for the dramatic changes in the room. I thought I was walking on to a set of a Broadway play. Really neat! A set to fool the eye and amaze the crowd and I WAS amazed. The beams, the "cycloarmas" effect created when you close the door and turn around. WOW! |
